PROJECTS in rural development,
health and education will get priority allocations from the solons’ pork barrel
funds.
Rep.
Erico Aristotle Aumentado yesterday reoriented the mayors, municipal engineers,
development and planning coordinators, health officials and school principals
of Bohol’s 2nd District in a meeting at the Kiddie’s Farm in Calanggaman, Ubay
town.
The
solon tapped Joseph Rañola, president of the Center for National Budget, to
provide the details for transparent budgeting, how the Priority Development
Assistance Fund (PDAF) is allocated to the solons and the limits of
disbursements set for each year for different government sectors.
The
solon said the reorientation provided guidance to the participants on which
projects to prioritize this year given limited government resources.
