BRGY. Mahagbu in Trinidad town 96
kilometers northeast of the capital Tagbilaran City is now another solar dryer
and school building richer.
This
afer Rep. Erico Aristotle Cabagnot Aumentado (Bohol, 2nd District)
recently inaugurated the P250,000-solar dryer in Purok 2 of Sitio Mahayahay
built with the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) of the solon’s
father and namesake Erico Boyles Aumentado who died on Christmas Day last year.
The
solon led ribbon cutting ceremonies [see foto] together with Brgy.
Councilors Diosdado Lozada, Castor Baluca, National Irrigation Administration
Region 7 Division Manager Olympio Galagala Jr., Brgy. Capt. Isidro Agot, Engr.
Caberte and Brgy. Councilor Marciano Aurestila.

Aumentado
also participated in the symbolic key turnover rites for the one-classroom
school building for the Mahagbu Elementary School [see foto]. With him
were Head Teacher Arlene Nuera, Baluca, Agot, Cluster Head Dario
Dacuylo, Coordinating Principal Democrito Boniel, Engr. Domingo Lamoste who is
the Department of Education (DepEd)-Bohol Physical Facilities Supervisor and
Engr. Mario Montejo of the Department of Public Works and Highways – the
implementing agency for the project.
The
late solon had facilitated the release of the funds from the Department of
Budget and Management to DepEd.
